Sorry about the two previous blog posts. The one just below was stuck in draft when I lost access to my website, and had to take my PC into repairs. The post below, should actually should come before the other one underneath it. Just so you understand the confusion.
I am having a number of strange little issues in getting new uploaded art works onto my FAA printing site. I think I have one issue dealt with, then another issue shows up shortly after.
I believe it's more to do with the Windows program that I have on my computer. Many things going obsolete. Applications are no longer compatible. All I can do is try to work around them, as best I can.
I'm trying to get my Halloween teddy bear art work onto my print site. What I don't see here, I can see there, a few little specks of white dust on the black back ground of my drawing. I am working to rescan the drawing. Should have this taken care of sometime this Friday, Oct. 11th, 2012.
May as well add my Christmas holiday teddy bears up, too. Can't believe how fast a year can go.
Have a super dooper week-end, folks.
I was without my computer for 2 weeks while it was in wait for repairs. No bugs, or any type of tangible damaging issues were found. I was having troubles with updates to virus protections, and issues with downloads in new programs. I lost my java, my reader, everything was going whacky, and my PC got bossy, and then just didn't do anything right. My emails were acting up, and so was my twitter, and facebook accounts. A whole lotta craziness. The repair guy ended up cleaning out my PC, and my bookmarked websites, accounts, and links were all removed in the process. I'm just now recovering my website accounts, and renewing passwords, etc.. Not an easy job with every single website needing all my lost info that proves I'm who I say I am. What a mess. I've lost quite a lot, and may never recover everything, but for now, I need to just get back online, and return access to my networks. I did not lose any of my pictures, and artworks, thank you, Lord! Whew!
I did some work on my horses drawing, and some holiday drawings I never finished last year. Got some of my old teddy bear drawings ready to share. I still have a camera problem. I couldn't afford repairs to both PC, and camera, and of course the PC comes first. I got a nice break on the repair cost, so I think I can have my camera looked at early in November. I hate the timing of all these problems. Why do they always seem to happen just before the times I need to get the holiday stuff done??
On another note. My horses drawing is nearly done, but I'm not happy with the background, yet. I keep changing the background stuff, and found I needed to just take a break from it. Nervous energy does not make for a happy artist. I Must be happy in my work, or they won't turn out well. Just a couple of days to focus attention to my holiday art, and get my websites back in order. Have plenty of time this week-end for all of that.
I hope everyone is doing well. Enjoy the week-end! I LOVE the Fall season!
Just setting up to upload some of my holiday art. The teddy bear art I haven't had a chance to finish adding, are mostly holiday, calendar, and greeting card art works. Just a couple of those are on this site now. Will have the rest of them uploaded on my print site first. I've just uploaded two over there, now. These are works I don't need my camera for. They fit in my scanner, so I will be working on the uploads to my printing site first, before I upload here, as I will need the link to add to them.
As for my camera, I found someone to take a look at it, but the heat has been brutal lately. Shouldn't be more then a day or two when it cools back down to a respectable temperature. Then I can get back out there to get that card taken out of my camera. So, I'm not totally helpless here, and I do have someone to take my photographs so people can at least see what I'm currently working on, they just won't be great pictures to print from, right away.
I'll be busy drawing, as I have several projects going, along with a few new holiday art works. This time is the right time to finish the current holiday drawings I began from last year, before I had to check into the hospital, just 4 days before Christmas.
So, I hope every one finishes out this week not so tired, that you can't enjoy your week-end.
