I'm talking now
Okay! We are back in business with my premium account with Fine Art America printing website.
WHEW! I have been looking through some new features available there. I did try some already. Nothing I did worked. Bangs head on keyboard... Such is the ongoing issues for an artist that is computer dumb. Everything I do know, I had to learn on my own. I killed my first PC, a laptop in my self education, but it gave 8 good years until I fried the poor thing. Most PC workings I did by trial and error. It seems the instructions I read to properly set things up on my websites are quite easy, but my bossy computer, or even the website I'm working with is bossy, and pretty much tells me, " Your doing it wrong! " UGH! I simply want to use FAA's awesome new features that connect our websites so that there is a much easier navigation around them both. Applying purchase cost's to each artwork, and the ability to click on an artwork to direct a buyer, or viewers that are just curious) to the prices for each individual artwork. I'll keep at it until I get it right. For the moment, I need a break. I will be back to work on this tomorrow. There are some photographs I need to take tonight, of some of my works. Still trying to get some photographs right to add here, and there. Have a great Thursday, everyone. Peace*

Well, I don't understand what the problem is with my Fine Art America printing account. They have me down as a free account, which is it not. I paid for the subscription renewal. Until FAA fixes their issue I can't work with my website there. In a free account the features are very limited. I can't even upload more artwork or photographs.
I've emailed FAA from their contact address, and hope to hear from them soon, with the issue corrected. Hopefully, this will be taken care of shortly. Well, I've managed to get the two major photographs of my two older cats, I set up for purchase in prints. The links are long, but they do work. I have more on the personal photos page of Lucy, and Tommy there now too, which I will add to my printing site soon so those will be available for purchase. I need a more updated photographs of Lil Rusty to add to the mix as well.
I have some kitten sketches, and color drawings that I "might bring out." They were for a book that a writer was going to add to her kitten storybooks for children, and since that fell through, because of her own hardships, and not being able to have an agreement with the Publishers. We no longer have a contract to work together, but I want to make sure of the contract we agreed on originally is completely void, and she isn't sharing my work, before I put I add them. I hope everyone is having a relaxing week-end. Peace I'm adding links to each available artwork for prints. Last year, I had removed some of my work from the printing site that wasn't generating very many views. So, I will be adding artworks I've held back that I needed to redo photographs of. I've done a few samples but there is always a shiny spot, or the white flash shows up somewhere to block the color. My problem is I have shaky hands when I must be still, and the lighting isn't always right. A friend suggested looking into a camera stand. Probably a good idea considering.
I have personal photographs on my print site of my cats, that are not shared here. I've decided that, since I've gotten a lot of positive comments on my personal pictures, I will create a page for personal photo's, and one especially for us cat lovers. =) I haven't forgotten that I need to add pictures of current drawings that I promised. If your one of my regular visitors, you know by now my slow progress due to health issues, and sometimes injuries cause Imma power chair rider, and sometimes have been known to crash into things. I hope you have a lovely Sunday evening, all. Love- Hello again,
I'm going to try something different on here. It was suggested to me that when some one is interested in my work, that I might offer a purchase link from each artwork. A lot of the special features in weebly I miss out on, as I use the free weebly account. I would love to buy my own domain, and have access to those special features. I just can't afford the cost to a Pro account with weebly. So, I did a little bit of experimenting with adding a link to one of my artworks, and hoped that will take you directly to my printing site for that specific artwork. My "Twilight in the Cosmos" watercolor painting has the first trial link added. When I clicked on that link, I did go directly to the one artwork. Yay!! All the purchase info is right there. The price of the artwork, and the many choices to what kind of prints you can buy, what choices in sizes, paper, poster, greeting cards, and more. Fine Art America is an excellent printing site for the numerous choices they offer our customers. I will be adding links to each work I have available to purchase in prints. I have to go through each work to add the links, so this will take me some time. I'll be doing that over the week-end. Hey there friends,
I'm back open with my FAA printing account. There was some delay in their getting my payment, and then they just got done with maintenance to my site. So happy, and relieved to be back with my accounts straightened out. I apologize for my slowness. It is my life as a disabled, bound by wheelchair. It doesn't stop me, but it does keep me on slow speed. Have a beautiful week-end, Janet Well, a bit of a set back with my FAA printing accounts closing on me. Only for a short time, though. I should have my accounts reopened within a few days. I have a busy few weeks ahead. Simple, but time consuming things.
I've also been dealing with, yet again, an infection on my leg from an old injury I had last year. I think I managed to avoid the hospital this go around. It has a lot of healing yet to do, but I'm actually doing good under the circumstances. I am, of course, always sketching, drawing something. I should be back on track with my previous plans real soon. Love-n-Peace |
