I had one bite, so to speak, but even though I realized that I had somehow missed the request for a small project for copies of one of my art works for christian brochures. I've not advertised that kind of printing, and I know the printing site I share to offer my work in prints does not do this type of printing, so I don't know that I could have been of help there.
I only sell my work in print forms at this time, through the printing link I share on my profile. Printed canvas, or high quality printing papers, greeting cards, framed or not. Any other printing requests are not a part of the business I can offer.
Once I have my Impatien Dreams completed, I will sell the original, and offer her up in prints as well.
I was slow to get back to the drawing, I know. It's been a very busy few months. Now I keep thinking about it, as I am working on it again, and will have a new picture on my progress up soon.
I will give myself as long on this site as I can stay on the net to realize my dream of selling my work. It's a worthy dream, in my eyes. Before computers and gadgets it was very hard to show my work, life as disabled, with the talent to create, and nothing I could do with it. I think I still have a few good years left to keep this up.
I do find joy in others enjoying my work, I love the looks on people's faces when they see what I have created. Sometimes, I draw or paint specifically for someone I care about. Created just for them, as a gift. To see them hang on their walls is knowing they love my work. Sometimes, I end up keeping a work for my own collection. Not very often, but since most of the work I have done in the past 20 or so years remains with me, I'm not really doing without them. =)
